About Brandon
Longstaff Real Estate and Development was born out of pure passion and love for the real estate industry. Broker, Brandon Longstaff started his real estate career as a novice investor. He bought and sold many investment properties prior to becoming a real estate agent and continues to do so presently. Brandon decided to get his real estate license, so he could begin to work for himself. He obtained his real estate license while working full time as a commercial electrician, which he has done for 15 years and still continues to do so when called upon.
When Brandon obtained his sales person license he worked for Jesse Real Estate for three years where he obtained a great wealth of knowledge from his mentor Jesse Briliga. Once Brandon began really concentrating and working for himself, soon friends, colleagues and family members were asking Brandon to help them find money making projects in Ocean City. Eventually he became so busy just by word of mouth alone, he gave up his full time job as an electrician to pursue real estate full time. Prior to and during obtaining his brokers license, Brandon enjoyed working for Remax of Ocean City and continues to have a great rapport with both agencies.
Brandon is always looking to educate himself on issues that affect his life, business and well being. Brandon successfully obtained his Brokers license in the summer of 2006 as well as became licensed to solicit mortgages. Brandon also runs and operates a 72 unit Hotel in Ocean City, and has taken courses on Hospitality and marketing.
Brandon has a knack and talent for finding properties that make money. Currently he is involved with a number of commercial properties in Ocean City. Brandon is also very experienced in condo conversions, which he has done several himself. He has done many renovations and re-constructions as well as a new construction project. Brandon currently holds a New Jersey builders license.
Although Brandon can help anyone with all aspects of real estate, he does not like to push current or future clients into buying, selling, building, leasing or financing unless they are completely comfortable and confident in any transaction being made.
Brandon and his wife Sheri have moved from Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1991 to live in Ocean City full time. They have three sons and thoroughly enjoy the small town year round living of Ocean City.
